Sepulveda Pass, 22 in. by 28 in., is part of my ongoing work capturing scenes from contemporary Los Angeles. A mix of oil paint with charcoal lines makes this oil on paper work is influenced by Diebenkorn, Hockney, and Berk, all of which captured the California experience. This is my own interpretation of LA and one of its most iconic passes. Who hasn't driven through Sepulveda Pass?
